Change rear tire
Pads worn...sensor (wire)still intact but worn.
Replace with new pads and insert sensor...crack off small side piece of plastic holder, but it still slide into the brake pad slot.
Zipp tie wire back in place.
Change rear gear oil.
Ride for three miles...no problem.
Next mount up the "Brake sensor idiot light appears" after a couple miles.
Check wire..seems intact...pull on it thinking wire is now broke (sensor light is on)...it pops out the plastic holder and wire.
Wire still complete (not broken) but plastic holer is....not usuable again.
Ride 200 iles with idiot light on...no brake problems.
I have read about tight zip ties...maybe that's it.
I have read about GS-911 to reset the idiot lights.(no one near me has one)
So how do I get this light to turn off?
BMW only?
Thanks,
Mike
