Not that I am an avocate or suggesting anyone do this, but had anyone just knocked out the elements in a k bike cat converter to see if there was a change in torque or hp?

Its not that simple, but I did it. Requires a good bit of cutting and welding stainless steel.
The results: best thing, the exhaust pipe external temperature is much lower. Blipping the throttle it seems to be slightly more responsive, cannot feel any noticeable power improvement. Exhaust note is basically unchanged.
