The silver paint for BMW car wheels is a pretty good match, you can find it in Halfords. Actually I've bought their own 'generic' silver wheel paint and that's pretty close.

Aerosol paints are cellulose and the oem is much harder, probably 2 pack polyeurethane. If you have lifted or damaged/graunched the oem paint surface, don't think about stripping it. Just smooth in some Plastic padding, smooth with 900 wet & dry and re-coat the area with cellulose.

If you've extracted the tranni like I did and want to re-coat it, that's a whole different game.

It has to be 'mixed' from a formula mate. Try your nearest auto body supply shoppe...they should have the 'codes' for a perfect match...if not...some should be able to match it anyway....it won't cost you but a quart of paint to find out. Have a bloody good time with it.
