so today was my first oil and filter change on my new kgt. my questions are now concerning other fluids. brakes and coolant are obvious. there are 2 large allens on the right rear. i'm assuming one is rear end fluid, and one is the shaft drive? where is the tranny plug? any other fluid places? thanks

I just finished servicing mine. The final drive has a drainplug at the bottom (19mm hex head bolt) and a fill plug on the side. Just drain out the old lube, insert the drainplug with new crush washer, and fill from the side plug. The tranny drainplug is underneath the bike by the centerstand. The fill plug is on the side above the righthand footpeg. I haven't done the coolant yet or the brake servo/control circuits.

For the tranny drainplug, cut the bottom off of a 1 gallon antifreeze jug (or oil jug) so that it fits between the centerstand legs above the crossbrace. That will catch the old tranny lube and keep it off your shop floor. The tranny drainplug is a 14mm allen head cap screw so you'll need a 14mm allen head socket.
