I have an 2001 K12RS could someone tell me the thread size and pitch of the bleeders on the front calipers. Thanks very much.

ooh, well as far as I know the threads on the bleeders are coarse and tapered I guess you want to fit something in there or fix a bad thread??

It may not be much help, but most brake system couplings used to be based on Whitworth (UK) and UNC (US) thread forms. The reason for tapers on the bleeders is obvious as there's no shoulder to seal against and why many overtighten and have trouble getting them loose.

I'm trying to put speed bleeders on my front calipers.Gary Hollinger's Brake Bleeding instructions call for 8mmx1mm bleeder for the front. I went to SPEED BLEEDER.COM they list SB8125L which looks like it's 8mmx1.25mm. I don't want to try and thread the wrong size in.
