FS: 1992 BMW K1 with only 4500 miles. This bike is in the prettiest and most tasteful color scheme, the blue and silver. We believe this to be a two-owner motorcycle, the second owner being a BMW collector and retired aviation technician who has owned the bike for a long, long time. The bike has been stored indoors throughout it's entire life and taken out only for regular routine servicing and exercise by it's owner. The original toolkit is still with the bike and the bike has a clear title. The front fender has the classic K1 cracking due to the designed-in insufficient clearance around the front fork--nearly all the K1s cracked their fenders there. Included is a new primed fender that goes with the bike, ready to be relieved and painted. Also in the photos you can see some minor finish damage on the RH fairing storage pocket lid, due to spilled brake fluid, so the front brake system has been serviced. Those are the only known flaws on the bike.

This is a fantastic example of BMWs first 4-cylinder superbike and a good fit for anyone who enjoys riding and collecting some of the best of BMWs production. Only 6921 K1s were produced world-wide, less than 700 made their way to the United States, and fewer still were in the tasteful original paint scheme shown here.

Price is $6995 obo.

PRICE DROP!!

This bike is being sold to close out an estate and the executor has lowered the price to $5000 firm in the interesting of getting things wrapped up. This is an incredible opportunity to own a classic piece of BMW history!
