I'm now the proud owner of a 2011 K1300 GT ee and it had a after-market seat fitted. I've lowered the pegs and raised the seat for a more comfortable ride. Trouble is, I've now got a centimetre gap between the seat and the feul tank and I'm concerned if I'm out in the sun and we get a sudden downpour and it all goes under my front seat!! Would a window rubber seal be the best answer? Has anyone encountered this and solved it? Gary

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Bikes are designed to be out in the rain. The standard seat would also let in water between it and the tank anyway. Put one in if you wish, but I don't think it's necessary.
