I bought what is admittedly a entry-level GPS late last summer, a Garmin Street Pilot 320. I was excited at first, but then discovered the mapping was out of date, trying to send me down roads that no longer existed or were one-way streets. Also, it often referred to roads which were marked with route numbers as "such and such" road.

Can I expect better mapping from a higher priced unit?

Mapping

in my part of the country, they work fine. Nothing is perfect. I have an E MAP, the oldest and a ZUMO 550 the newest that i use on on my bike and a 2610 in my work van and find them to be fairly accurate, feet rather than miles and really helpful to find my way around a tri state area.
