Hey folks - I need a wee favor.

I bought a GS-911 last week and after looking at the various software versions on my bike, I *may* have later software than I originally thought....which means I *may* be a complete horses arse. (and yes, I can and will neigh and bray if so)

Can anyone that has both a GS-911 and precise knowledge of what software CIP CD they have on their bike at present, tell me what OSV and FSV versions they have? It'd be great as others have pointed out to have a correlation table between CIP versions and OSV/FSV but right now, I selfishly want to know what CIP I have based on my GS-911 snapshot.

Guy has confirmed that he has CIP 10 and has FSV 0.77.23 - I have FSV 0.77.22. Our OSVs are the same at 2.3.1 The last time I had a software update for certain (meaning receipt in hand, etc) was Dec '06 which resulted in my bike getting 7.1 CIP at that time.

At the end of the day, I'm more or less trying to determine if my FSV and OSV are "latest enough" for the new airbox I had swapped 2 weeks back. If so, I'm all set. If not, I'll be heading down to Austin this weekend for a "squeeze in" appointment at Lone Star but I don't want to waste their time for the favor if I'm actually already good.

I had my software upgrade done on 11/30/07 I assumed to be 10.1, I do not own a GS-911, but I do have a print out of my upgrade.

My Numbers agree with yours.

Interesting! Thanks for the reply!

If this is true, that almost confuses the issue further. haha! Guy had CIP 10.0 which resulted in FSV 0.77.23

If your update indeed was 10.1, your data is identical to mine, but our FSV is 0.77.22

Curioser and curioser...

And mine, again:

BMS-K
Part No.:7707229
Hardware Index:10
Coding Index:1
Manufacturer:Bosch
Manufacturing Date:2007-03-19
MCV:0.5.8
FSV:0.77.23
OSV:2.3.1
Program status:230I
Date release:CD10
VIN:WB10597077ZN46681

Couple thangs I noticed is that the manufacturing date on my ECU is middle of march 07, and yuse guys with the FSV 77.22 has got ECUs made in '06.

Also, your part numbers and program status numbers are different from mine. I'm not trying to say mine's better, just different. :teeth It might account for the difference in FSV numbers as well, all coming from CD10. I don't know what the dot number was on my CD - the service manager said 'See Dee Ten', nothing else.

Well, hot damn! My dealer musta' updated my software after all. I'm surprised that they put the harness back in the strange way I had it installed (under one wire, over another, twisted a certain way, etc) but whatever - I'm a happy camper. :)

And, of course, I was wrong to assume they hadn't done their job. As such, my avatar must change for a while...
