Helmet Lock

I second the recommendation by Windy. The bracket for the lock was designed, and is manufactured, by my riding buddy. He got tired of me complaining about not having anyplace to secure my helmet. Everything I saw that was available out there either looked cheap or took away from the clean lines of the bike, so we came up with this idea. Pirate puts the bracket together with the GS helmet lock and sells it as a package. It's a little pricey, but it looks great and mounts easily.

Bill,

You may want to look at this link. I found it by going to the Community Archives forum, selecting the SEARCH option and typing in "Helmet Lock" . There are other threads, but this one had pictures!

Using the T-Bars with the existing "locks" is inexpensive and very small to store (fits in tool roll or even in the registration compartment under the seat.

Great link Randy. I got so fustrated trying to use the stock setup under the seat that I end up just leave the helmet on the triple tree. Fortunately, nobody has stolen it, ... yet. Although I am thinking about a new Schulberth.
