I have a '01 Red K12RS and I'm having some slight scratches on the right side fairing touced up by a local body shop. They are having a difficult time matching the paint. I gave them the paint reference number on my bike....which is 733 and I believe a BASF paint number. The number is meaningless to them and they're asking me for any cross reference number that they can use to match the paint. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had my bags painted locally and they had me take my bike to a local automotive paint shop and the guys at the paint shop placed a (reader) on the bike and it scanned the paint and printed out a code that they used to mix the paint. You might try calling around to the local paint shops and see if anyone has this. I live in a pretty small town and we have two here that I know of.
