Not really impressive at only 61,000 miles on my 2006 K12S. Except when I bought it in August 2016 it only had about 2,600 miles on it. At that time it was on its second battery, third set of tires and #2 fuel strip.

New parts, (all used but almost new) drive shaft, final drive, starter, front wheel bearings. two sets of fork ball joints, shocks, clutch plates and basket, batteries at three years whether they are still good or not, hot start wire harness, rebuilt fuel injectors, that sort of stuff. I don't want failures on the road.

Yeah, Doug, so correct. Over 30 years as a merchant marine engineer, has tought me it is much easier to fix it before it is a problem. Well worth the money spent.

Ha I think I have the Hi Miler to pop a few eyes open.My 2009 K1300Gt just purchased this December, had it delivered in by TFX Int'l enclosed trailer service from West coast of Canada to here in Ontario. Odometer at 205,739 and now that Spring has sprung, I have it at 206,400
Like Beech says and Douglas M concurs... don't wait to do break down maintenance... be proactive with anything that is of concern. I have to look at a throwout bearing making a slight rumble, goes away when I pull in slack on the clutch. Otherwise sawwweeet!

Agreed Hi Beech I am a 36 year Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and I too live by Douglas M's credo of preventative maintenance is your friend.

999,999 miles after replacing the battery, Any Ideas?
Also just got a GS911 tool. What's the quickest way to learn how to use it?
