How do you remove the instrument cluster.
I took the two screws out, one either side at the top, but something is holding it at the bottom.
Bike is a 2007 k1200 gt

In addition to the two upper screws, there are two plastic tabs just below the gauges. It's difficult to get something skinny in there to release the tabs, but if you just pull them out firmly but carefully, they will come loose.

After that, the instrument cluster itself is held in with three circlips that you can get to from behind, so you'll need to remove some fairing panels to get to them . . .

I just did it. Not a big deal. However I am dealing with a busted front end so I did remove the whole upper and side fairings, the head light, the windshield assembly and the inner fairing.

I you don't mind me asking why are are you removing the instrument cluster?
The reason for asking is, mine was damaged and I needed to do some repair. All when well except I need I speedometer needle. If you have one to spare I would appreciate it.

So, by looking at the pics there I cannot tell how to get into where the bulbs are within the instrument cluster.

I want to take out the light that powers the giant yellow triangle so bad I can taste it. My TPMS doesn't work and want that light OFF!

Taking the cluster out and opening it is not an issue. I can walk you trough it. I have mine out in the garage right now. However taking out the bulb might not be that easy. Everything in there is soldered to a board.

I just need to disable it however I can without destroying anything else. I don't have the bike apart yet, but I will be taking it apart some time soon.

If you can figure out how to possibly disable this light from being on constantly (for those of us who have bad TPMS and don't want to give a kidney or two to repair it) and can put it down in words, I'd be forever in your debt.

If not, no biggie. I plan to explore that area anyway in the upcoming non-riding winter months around here.
