I just installed a set of Throttlemeister bar ends, which I bought as a back up to the cruise control unit. I have had the switch to go out on my cruise, which leaves you with one tired hand at the end of the day. So I was thinking what if I was on a long trip. Anyhow, I had been experiencing "tired" hands recently, but after a 900+ mile trip over the weekend to the Texas Hill Country, I discovered the tired hands were gone!!
If you use Throttlemeister, read the directions carefully, several times, and since you have heated grips, only cut out enough in the end of the grip to fit the adapter inside, DON'T CUT OFF THE ENTIRE END OF THE GRIP!!
Throttlemeisters are the answer and installation was a breeze (less than 30 min). Be sure you get the right set (with or without heated grips). If you have the heated grips, be very careful when you cut the ends off. I got mine from California Sport Touring. See attached link.
