K1200rs Ready For Travel

6608 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Razel
Hello to all: I've posted several pictures of my '03 K1200rs in the Gallery Section to illustrate a K bike ready for travel. The pictures show a variety of options, passenger backrest, Ztechnik Sport Windscreen, Givi E30N Top Trunk (the small one but holds a full face helmet) Magellan Meridian GPS mount (RAM products mounting pieces used) Radar Mount for an older Escort, and a cell phone mount. The cell phone mount allows me an easy view if I've missed a call due to concentrating on the road ahead. Disclaimer: OK you know the drill, do not attempt to pick up the phone while driving, pull over to a safe location, look both ways before exiting your bike, and make sure you have a friend who's an attorney. There, I fell better. Hope this helps.

Where Did The Mudflap Go?

With all the accessories I've added, I had to go on a weight savings plan....don't you know.

I have trouble with the sattelite dish on mine. It tends to catch wind when under way. I have the 50" DLP high def TV mounted sideways so it isn't so much of a problem

Probably was him. Scary to watch him lane-split during commute hours while he watches Oprah...
