Be careful you don't get caught out with a stall while downshifting into second or first and let out the clutch quickly. There is enough compression there to basically lock up the back wheel if it doesn't start immediately, and you'll go down as a few others have.

Mine locked up and slid a little before I pulled the clutch back in . :yeow:
Started stalling @ 2300 mi. Right side switches failed @ 1800 or so.
If I deliberately keep the rpm"s up when i pull in the clutch it's ok.
Called the dealer to make an entry into the BMW data base of the stalling. They gave me the story of the "temp" fix of cleanning the throttle bodies and adding Tecron(sp) fuel additive.
I 've always used fuel from a consistant source,and I wring her out on a regular basis. Just added the injector cleaner and haven't ran her since.I'll see if I notice any improvement after a few tanks of fuel.
Bike runs like a scalded bobcat with it's a$$ on fire.

Let the dealer do the TB cleaning. Helped me tremendously. Besides, it can't hurt anything.
