HI,

I would like to ask a favor. I currently own a ’06 K1200GT for the past 12 years.
I’m thinking about moving on to a K1600GTL. My problem is storage. I have a shed I built just for the K1200 with a front wheel dock. If I get the K16 I need to know that it will fit in the shed. No there is no other option to keep it inside.

Can anyone tell me the exact length of the K1600GTL (with top case) from front tire….to… the very rear edge of the top case?

The width would be helpful too.

Thank you so much.

Thanks....no rush....I still have my '06 GT.
But I'm still curious as to whether my bike shed will accommodate a 1600GTL.
I built the shed for the bike and then I put a front tire holding stand in, so my length available is in question for the 1600. I would remove the top case of course. So front tire to edge of base for the top case would be a measurement a good measurement. What is the widest point? Mirrors or panniers/saddlebags/side bags....never sure what term is in vogue.

Thanks again.
