I was given a 1986 K75C that has sat since 1999 and been periodically started. 6,000 miles on it. The previous owner had the wrong hoses in the tank, no fuel filter, no strainer and a burned out fuel pump. I just put in a new fuel pump and hoses, but have no power to the connection plug or the 7.5 amp fuse (fuse position 6). I have a Haynes service manual. According to the schematic, it looks like the power to the fuse box comes from the fuel injection relay. I changed out the relay and still no power. It looks like the relay needs to be grounded by the yellow and brown wire from the fuel injection relay position 85 to the ignition control unit position 7, but I am not sure. Where is the ignition control unit? Any advice would be appreciated.
