I got a LAMPF on monday and the low beam was clearly not working so I replaced the bulb. Second bulb didn't glow either.
But the bulb I replaced looked fine so I yanked out the GS-911 and a scan showed a fault on the parking light circuit.

Now the low beam is good and the parking light is clearly blown as its a sickly grey black.

How do I get this out without breaking anything. I read other posts that say it pulls down and out of the fairing but this is not working and I am not a weakling. I think it can only come out from above???

Has anyone done this on a k1300s or equivalent? The manual is of course useless.

It is just a friction fit. Mess with it.

If the parking light is the same as a K1300GT, you twist the socket then pull out.

Agreed turn 90° then pull down. I'll double check which way to turn it when I get home.
I forgot the 1300S has the single bulb in the headlight for the parking light.
