Is there any BMW riders in the NorthEast, Maine or NH? I have been keeping an eye in this zone and no much activity. My wife and I ride every weekend and would like to meet other riders to go ride. I do not know if there is an actual group that gets together and do tech sessions and ride. I know the LT group dose well with that. :ghug: The season is almost over for us so lets see if there is any one in this site that like to get together

I been driving with my wife and we put 9K+ miles this summer. I just thought meeting others in the area with BMW's There is lots of HD in town and I ride some times with the UBM Uniter Bikers of Maine. When I had my LT last years there were many tech sessions in some ones house. I bought 2 bikes from Max's an 07 LT and a 08GT and they treat me real bad on the last deal. So will never go back to them ever. Now I am using StreetCycle in Falmouth ME dealer and are wonderful so far.

Is late in the season but maybe the notheast can plan a "GET to MEET others" meeting some time in the spring. We can ride and eat :coffee May be in NH. Lets see what momes out of this

Hey lets do!!! I know some good areas to go in Maine. Last year after the European rally in Bethel, some LT friends from VT, NY, NH, CT, RI and I took a nice ride through the mountains of Maine and NH. My avatar is from that trip and the picture was taken at the top of Mount Washington. Had a great time  Maybe we can get a few from this site and get together and ride.
Let me know when you are planning to come this way. Pin me with your plans before you come and I can make sure that I am free and so my wife :ghug:
It is going to be a long winter :xcheer:

Meridith is a nice place, large lake and good riding. That could be an option, stay over a friday, ride on saturday and go back on sunday. Other nice places are lake gorge NY, Burlington NH, Rangely lakes ME. All nice. Any other ideas? If we plan a nice trip with time, maybe we can schedule vacations or time off to have a nice trip or at least a few days to ride and get together. My self and my wife need to plan trips with anticipation due to work, my wife is a teacher for the local HS so summer is best. Lets see if we can get something going  BAK04GT if Meridith is what you can do then we can plan it there :xcheer:

I have a possibility for everyone. In the end of May there will be a nice ride through Vermont with the BBD's on the LT sister site of these K site. There are folks from NY, CT,MA, NH, RI and from ME, with different BMW bikes. Last two years we had a great time riding the weekend with the group. Check it out, the link is http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/cmps_index.php?

There is some pictures posted and the one with the oil spill on the GT is me :wtf: I fell for it :rotf: My wife is driving the HD :D
This will be a nice ride and good time. Good chance to meet others with our passion on riding BMW motorcycles. We can also plan other rides for the summer. Let me know.

The link takes you to the sister site bmwlt, go to North east and is the longest tread. I am going to copy and paste the info, I hope you can make it. This is the 3rd year we do this ride and we always have a great time. The wifes are also are coming to the ride.

I had a nice sunny ride on the R90/6 yesterday. Today we brought in some rain clouds and are washing the sand and salt off most of the roads in Vermont in preparation for Ride Vermont 2009. (Just wanted everyone to know that we are continuing our efforts to make this year's ride of the BBDs the best one yet.)

Times and places refresher:

Friday night, 29 May - starting at 6:30PM http://www.steakoutvt.com/
we will start ordering from the menu around 7:30, good spirit and spirits from 6:30 to 7:30. We have a private conference room, just tell 'em your looking for the BMW group and they'll head you in the right direction.

Saturday 30 May - Breakfast at Chelsea Royal Diner http://www.chelsearoyaldiner.com/home.php
I'll get to the diner around 7 or 7:30 AM. I'd suggest getting to the diner no later than 8 AM because there can be a bit of a wait for a table on some mornings.

Ride departs from Chelsea Royal diner promptly at 9 AM. Please don't plan on making the group wait because you are slow to go in the AM. Old Navy guy here, "don't miss ship's movement".

Sat Night we'll be at: http://www.thelodgeatjay.com/page.asp?intNodeID=10725
Arrival time is targeted to be around 5 PM, but who knows?
If you haven't made a reservation for Sat night at the Lodge at Jay, what are you waiting for?
