Hey all,

Once again reaching out for some assistance from the wise and experienced. I have this sound coming from the clutch lever. Happens only when moving from standing still. It happens a couple times during the first minute of the vid. 0:02, 0:30, 0:47, 0:59

Hoping its an easy fix, or DIY solution.

It’s very hard to hear but at around the 35 sec mark I think there is a slight grinding noise. If this is what you’re talking about it is the dreaded k12 clutch problem where the inner plates aren’t getting enough oil and are running dry. That causes the graunching sound you hear on takeoff. Checkout this series of videos. All will become clear

i have a 2007 k1200gt. my problem is i have been told that my clutch basket is rattling is that a problem that happens alot and is it expensive to fix ????????? thanks james
