Welcome I have the exact same bike, except with stock exhaust. How many miles on it. The original put Battlax on mine. I probably would have gone with a different tire but not sure which ones. Others will chime in.

There are sticky (in the dry) that don't last long, good tires for the wet, good tires for the mileage with harder compound, then there are tire harder in the center and sticky on the sidewalls. I am not a student of tires, but we have folks here that are very knowledgeable. Start with a search In the K1300/1200S forum. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Mine has just over 25,000 miles, all stock other than the Remus pipe.
What part? I’m in Cleveland and have yet to see another K12/13S in the area.

Which ones? there are three: Battlax Sport Touring T32F, and Battlax Hypersport S21 & S22. What don't you like about the model you have?
I don't do long trips or ride in the rain. Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3

ok, next question...I get this light on the dash. I looked thru the manual and it doesnt appear in there anywhere. Sometimes its on, sometimes off, sometimes next to it (on the right) it has an arrow pointing up. WHAT DOES IS MEAN???

Just a guess - could it be a "country-dependent" alternative display?

Understood, but if you check my photo, I have an actual BRAKE FAILURE light at the top, so I dont think thats it?!

Yes, I saw that.
Some more specific information about when it is displayed and extinguished would be helpful. Does it come on at ignition on, and extinguish shortly after rolling a short distance?

Well the ones that he put on are Sport Touring T30F EVO, which I think were the OEM tires which were installed. Nothing wrong with them in general.

Tires, right now I'm using Metzler M7RR's. The Bridgestone are fine but the S21/22 are serioussport tires and not so good if it is cold or wet. Tires these days are all about traction, not many people can out ride their tires. Expect 4 or 5000 miles. So find a friend with a tire changer!
I have a set of S21's on the shelf left over when I has a S1000R. It too ate tires for lunch. But the tires were great.
Some MC tire shops do not have the tool to hold the rear wheel. Don't fall for "they never need weights". BMW specs 45 grams or less okay no weights in back, but I always balance down to 5 grams. And for a front tire the spec is 5 grams or less no weight but what the heck.

Beech, do you want to sell those Bridgestones? If so, what are the sizes?
I'm going to use them. Here are the two places that I use for fair prices on tires.
Free shipping and fair prices.

That's the rear brake light bulb warning, but may be triggered by something else. My K1300GT is in the shop now with the exact same light, changed bulbs, nothing changes, measured 11.7v at the rear light should be 6.4 v or something when the light is just on, the higher voltage with the brake light active.

I'm thinking it's cruise control related as that's nor working either....
