Hello fellow K-bike owners, i am currently finishing my winter maintenance / getting new rubber on my K1200R, and on top of this i have just gotten a steal of a deal on a Mivv slip-on exhaust, but after checking some of the previous posts regarding these, a few questions have popped up.
I can see some posts saying i should replace the O2 sensor now that the exhaust is off. My bike has done 17k miles, and from what i can tell the O2 sensor in the exhaust is totally happy? Should i just leave it alone?
And regarding the fueling after i install the slip-on, should i get the bike dynoed / have a power commander installed? Or will this not be required with just a slip-on? From what i gather it shouldn't be nessesary, but most of the threads i went through were from 2010-15, maybe things have changed? I have been totally satisifed with the fueling so far mind you.
So TLDR; bike is already partly dissasembled, do i / should i do anything in relation to the new exhaust that i am putting on?
Thank you for reading this, and for any advice you might have.
