Hello fellow K-bike owners, i am currently finishing my winter maintenance / getting new rubber on my K1200R, and on top of this i have just gotten a steal of a deal on a Mivv slip-on exhaust, but after checking some of the previous posts regarding these, a few questions have popped up.
I can see some posts saying i should replace the O2 sensor now that the exhaust is off. My bike has done 17k miles, and from what i can tell the O2 sensor in the exhaust is totally happy? Should i just leave it alone?
And regarding the fueling after i install the slip-on, should i get the bike dynoed / have a power commander installed? Or will this not be required with just a slip-on? From what i gather it shouldn't be nessesary, but most of the threads i went through were from 2010-15, maybe things have changed? I have been totally satisifed with the fueling so far mind you.
So TLDR; bike is already partly dissasembled, do i / should i do anything in relation to the new exhaust that i am putting on?
Thank you for reading this, and for any advice you might have.

Pic of the bike living its best life.
(no comments on my state of the art front stand)! 🤷‍♀️

If you’re just putting on a can the bikes electronics can deal with that. Leave the O2 sensors in place. No need to get the bike dynoed although that will make some improvement. A different story though if you replaced the whole system.
Awesome, i'll keep it simple for now then.
thank you :)
