After endless messing around I finally got the frame/engine support sorted out. I have the engine on bricks and wood, the left frame on a hydraulic jack, and the right on a screw jack. For back up I have a strap and come-a-long supporting the frame from a rafter.

Questions: Was I supposed to have removed the push rod before removing the transmission? And when replacing, do I insert the rod after installing the transmission, or before?

The tranny is out!!

Merci Beaucoup. I knew I did it wrong. Pulling the tranny over that shaft was interesting.

Clutch

Curious...did you replace the following items or reused 'em...Push Rod, Clutch Spring, Clutch Bearing, Clutch Plate, Compression Plate, Slave Cylinder..?

Push Rod

FYI...there has been an up date to the push rod design..highly recommended to replace this.
