2009 K13S, what is the small black filler cap for, just in front of your left knee, says "Do Not Open When Hot"??

Can't find any reference to it in the OM, they don't even know it's there I guess.

Can't see anything under the cap, it's not for engine oil, don't think it's windshield washer fluid, maybe the coolant surge tank?? Are you supposed to see any fluid in there??

You CAN check the level there?? There is a white plastic "diverter" just under the cap, can't see but maybe 1/2 inch into the tank from the filler cap. What are you supposed to see in there if it is "FULL"??
