Hello, new to forum and K bike ownership. Was looking to do some touching up on my paint. I have 2002 in the red and silver scheme, I found the scheme code (788) under the seat, but every vendor I find doesn't have their paints referenced to that scheme code, only the individual colors. Does anyone know the individual codes for the red and silver? Any help greatly appreciated

With the 3 digits style number (788 in this case), go to MAX-BMW web site to check all fairings pages to find your style number (on left hand pane of screen). From this, you will be able to find paint codes by scrolling parts numbers on right-hand pane of screen. For 2nd generation USA market K1200RS (2002-2004):
https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=51580&diagram=51_4525&partnumber=46637661208

For example, the link above is for the ICEBLUE-Marakesh RED combo color (style code 788 in 2002 for USA). Looking at TOP section of right-hand pane, we can see paint code 464 for IceBlue (called FROSTBLUE II in German) and also paint code 392 for Marakesh-Red (called MARRAKESCHROT in German).

BY FAR, the most complex and problematic paint to get (and apply) is the 464. To get the deep silver reflective flake effect, it is a 2 layers paint (in addition to to the final clear coat).

These 2 colors paint codes (464 - 392) can also be confirmed by checking the RED(s) and the BLUE(s) from this independant web site (not furnished by BMW mothership):
Paint Codes (click REDs and BLUEs menu on top)
