Tomahawk tires

Was about to post the same question. Yankovich article in the December BMWON was pretty positive though still makes me nervous. Dresser Tire and Rubber is one of five FAA approved suppliers of remanufactured tires for commercial airlines so they must have the technology. Would like to hear from someone that has tried.

Hmmmm. Airplane tires cost several hundred dollars a piece, last for a few starts and stops---probably 100 miles total...not sure that's what I'm looking for. Based on this logic we could call Catapillar for a replacement engine. They are reliable, lots of torque, and quite a bit of horsepower. So what if they belch black smoke and weigh several thousand lbs...

Just giving you a hard time. Never heard of Tomahawk. Where do you buy them? Got a link?
