The road oppression and the profusion of radars give ideas to the inventors of all hair. Among these interesting initiatives, we noted the arrival on the market of the inforad. It is a matter or more or less than a system GPS able find the location of all the radars and of some to warn his user 20 seconds before to cross them. Ingenious and discreet, the system consists in a case to conceal for example under the saddle of the bike, linked up to a small led itself climbed to the end of a flexible one. Set up close to the edge board, she warns proximity of a radar by means of a code color (green, free way; red, arrived on a radar). The list of the radars is to download on internet through your personal computer and next to load in the device by means of a connector USB. Alone regret, it lacks a sonorous alarm, this that obliges to observe very uniformly the color of the small light... The inforad is in accordance with the Code of the road (item R413-15). Interesting GPS system, I wonder if BMW could intgrate that into their navigational system. Although, this unit is complete useless in the US. The police are out to get me - "Bad Policeman, No Donut!"

Hi,
I've got one in the cab...works great!...especially when you pass them four times a day+ and the telephone goes at an unopportune moment or some other distraction....These radars tend to blend in with the landscape after a while so an alert signal can save you from two points on your license and 90 euro etc etc . though I have to say they are not always up todate even if you've just downloaded the latest update on the net. I do some 110,000 k per year and I email new ACTIVE locations to them...which can't be right , so beware!!
