on a 2001 k1200rs

Hi guys, I was hoping you could help with a problem. I have a warped rear rotor that needs replacement. I'm reluctant to shell out the $300+ needed for a new rotor/ABS ring and was wondering if anyone here has ever replaced just the rotor. I took off the rear wheel to get a good look at the assembly and it looks like the rotor is riveted to the ABS ring gear.

any help/experience on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Daniel

Just did mine a couple months ago. Replaced the whole thing, disc and rotor. Not hard, just expensive. $300 seems to be the going rate. Made my old disc into a clock.

I've seen online that you can purchase the rear disc for about $110. The problem I see is how to get the old disc off of the ABS ring and attach the new one...rivets galore.

Did you replace your caliper as well?
