Hi Everyone, just need alittle help. I have removed the rear wheel off my K12gt 03 to get new tyre put on and get rim rolled straight again. I was wanting to know if the wheel nuts have to be torqued and to what pressure? I know i could just tighten then up heaps but was wondering if there is a specific torque setting for them?

There ya go......a little Cut & Paste!

• Working in diagonally opposite sequence, tighten
the outer wheel studs to 50 Nm.
• Fully tighten the screw in the centre.
• Fully tighten the outer wheel studs in diagonally
opposite sequence.
X Tightening torque:
Wheel studs
Initial torque ................................................. 50 Nm
Final torque ................................................ 105 Nm

H96 is spot on, although it looks like he copy and pasted straight from the manual :rotf: The reason for relatively low torquing of the wheel nuts is because the wheels are alloy, and risk being damaged when over tightened. With steel car wheels you can tighten the crap out of them :boom:
