Another question. I bought some special grease to lube the driveshaft splines on my 1992 K100rs. The Clymer manual said to remove the 4 bolts holding the rear wheel on. I did that. I could not get the wheel off. There is a 5th bolt in the center of the wheel that is not even mentioned or shown in the Clymer Manual, do I also need to remove that 5th bolt? If so, I wanted to make sure is it reverse thread?
thanks,

if you are having difficulty removing rear wheel, I do not feel very comfortable in the idea of lubing the driveshaft splines. Good Luck. NO the center bolt is NOT reverse thread, just break it loose and remove it as you did the others

The fifth (center) bolt was added in the early 90's. It is the same bolt as the other four, just used with a cup type "washer". It torques the same as the others.
