I know of two places that will rebuild ESA shocks. One is in NJ
epmperf.com
The other is in California, go to the bottom of this page.
The Lindermann shop talkes about the different brand of BMW ESA shocks. I noticed they say the Sacaks are no good to work with. I don't know how to tell the difference of the three types, but have a mission now.
