Most of you have found that the brake fluid and clutch hydraulic oil reservoirs have child proof caps. Here is the tool that slips in under the cap and pushes those little tabs back so the cap can screw off. Find the tabs slip in the tool over them on each side, leave it in place and unscrew the cap. Best 6$ I have spent on the bike. It is about 2mm thick.

Google is your friend and especially BMW MAX parts fiche.
Here is Ebay:
Brake Clutch Master Cylinder Cap Release Tool FITS BMW Motorbike Equiv 32 1 511 | eBay

Here is OEM BMW Seems inflation has cought up.

I knew someone would want directions, this is a very handy tool. I actually paid $6 and some change for mine two years ago or so. But it is well worth it to have one if you do your own work. I shined it on years back thinking who needs that but I learned. In general Sbike, one buys BMW tools from the dealer. Of course if a bypass can be discovered go for it due to the serious prices our friends charge. Such as a vacuum bleed system for the radiator refill. But many times the oem stuff is the only way to go. Like valve timing jigs for S and R bikes.

Yes, good job coming up with something. My main back ground idea was to point out the need for pressing in those tabs.
