Low Seat.

The Last spec sheet had a low seat option. Does anyone know if this is still an option ?

I'm sure it is- the bike at the Long Beach show HAD the low seat, apparently. Virtually all BMW models now have a low seat available. They may not be GOOD, but they've got them. (I was amazed how awful the R1200GS low seat is, what an uncomfortable shape!)

Sorry about this; apparently there's a time limit to edit your own messages. . .

Noticed that this bike is a good bit lighter than the old bike too.

Old GT wet weight: 661 lb NO options
New GT wet weight: 622 lb W/ ABS

I'm guessing this works out to better than 60 lbs difference or more, anyone have the real weight for the ABS option?

Here is a quick run down of my estimate of what you will get from dealers.
Out the door total: $22,650

MSRP: $18,800
options (exclude high windshield & alarm): $2,270
ESA, $775
heated seat, $270
heated grips, $200
cruise control, $310
on board computer, $215
dealer setup + destination fee (BS cost), $500

Total: $21,070

Tax (in CA 6.75%): $1,422
Registration (in CA): $150

BMW's invoice prices are typically 13% below MSRP. Unless there is some sort of other price support, this is true most of the time. Good luck getting it from dealers on the first round of the K1200GT launch. Maybe after inventory stacks up, but not for the first set.

What happened to the HID headlight option?? I noticed that at the NYC show it was off the offical options list, but a while back it was listed as an option.

Odd, especially since most of the show GTs seem to have it installed. . .

I contacted BMW about the low seat option on the GT. The low seat is adjustable from 31.5" to 32.3". For a 600 lb.+ bike, 31.5" is NOT VERY low. BMW does not have plans for anything lower.

Is anyone paying less than MSRP for the New GT?

I'm about to pick mine up on Saturday and have not completed the deal yet. I am assuming I'll pay MSRP since it's his first GT and there were many in line wantting to see / ride/ buy? it. Not the time to try and get a better deal I suppose.
