I've had two of his saddles but so far have not felt the need to replace the stock one on this bike.

I don't do more than about 300 miles in a day and the stock saddle feels way better than the one on my Sprint ST or on my ZRX (the two bikes that I got Mayer's for).

Nice, I wonder how waterproof it is? Does he use his own pan? My main complaint with the stocker is it pushes me up into the tank.

You send him your pan and various photos and what it is that you are looking for. For my ZRX he built a hump in front so that when I braked hard I would not slide up onto the tank.

Rick treats the seat with a bee's wax concoction before he sends it to you. You can order it from him or find something local. Don't use anything with silicone. Irode 160 miles in a downpour on my way back from the MOA and my seat did not soak up any water.
