Did you paint or vinyl wrap the front fairings? I am thinking of using color-matched vinyl on mine.
Paint. It’s all same time mixed matched & sprayed paint on top of aftermarket but good quality Carbon Fiber panels, mostly Bestem and Ilmberger.
Family and holiday travel so I’ve no time to put on the side pod pieces, they are also CF & painted so you can see some of the carbon fiber as well.

I looked at Hydrodip with a clearcoat and also vinyl wrap. Finished or painted Carbon Fiber looks best in my opinion, then second best a good quality Hydrodip with a covering clearcoat, that looks pretty awesome too where I’ve seen it at some custom car shows.
I would say vinyl looks third best in my opinion I don’t think it would age well.
Here is a CF side fairing with some painters tape on it for conversations with the painter. super light and just super sweet looking I could not paint over all of it

Spokexx, nice bike!! Just like my old K12 that messed with a deer. The Remus hex exhaust you have is superior stuff, don't loose it. No longer available. Looking as hard as I can I don't see the restrictor in place in the end. I don't know if they can be ordered from Remus but possibly. It does take it down to very quiet but reduces the HP that the open unit offers. I did a dyno run on my K13 with out the restrictor and gained 3.5 rear wheel hp over the stock rocket ship. Keep in mine every 7 pounds off the bike or load is equal to 1 added HP in performance. You will get used to it and it is not so loud as to be nasty. Though it sings well at 8500 rpm and rising. When I first got my Remus I drilled a series of 1/4" holes in the restrictor around the outlet center pipe. This added to increased flow, but I said what the heck and took it out. It is on the shelf. Put the retainer screw back in the hole to save it and make it look normal.
Spoke that’s a gorgeous bike.
Did your tow vehicle run over a box of stickers on the way home 😜 Hey Beech great information as usual ! it took me months to find a replacement one at $900 from France.
While they don’t list one for the K 1200 S the modular Remus silencer designed so all you really need is the K1200 slip on end pipe and the standard Hexacone mufflers will work. if you look at any pictures of my bike it’s a slightly newer version, it doesn’t have the black Remus metal plate on it, just a more discrete laser etch, that’s the newer style & with the standard K 1200 S extension pipe works a treat.
If you look closely at Spokexx’s picture, you see the round tip inside of the exhaust. That is the silencer. It’s in place, if you zoom in you can almost see the screw as well.
