Does anyone know the size of the nut on the O2 sensor? It looks like either 21 or 22 mm but I want to make sure before I go to AutoZone.

Thanks.

I measured my old one and it's 22.1mm across the flats! That may be a 22mm open end with a bit of a grind or 7/8 inch. May be very difficult to get out if been in a while. I had to use stilsons! Buy a Lambda sensor thread chaser. My new sensor would definitely have cross threaded without first cleaning out the thread. Use a very small smear of copper lube on the threads when refitting. Pig to get at, need to remove shield and shift linkage.

use 7/8" open end wrench. tighten VERY gently, just a touch past finger-tight.

the Oxy-sensor socket with the cut-away side, you will find at Autozone, will not work due to the sensor location on your pipe.
