Reading the Sargent Seat thread I went to their website and found these:

http://www.sargentcycle.com/bmwss.htm

My seat has some aging spots in it where it looks like the prevous owner's butbones sat. seat feels ok to me, but I've not been on a long trip with it yet. If I decide I don't need a more comfortable seat, these covers might be a good solution. Has anybody used one of them on a K-bike?

Thanks,
Jerry

My RS has 40K miles and the seat was very uncomfortable. I took it to a specialist who told me that the seat cover goes hard over time but there is nothing wrong with the foam. He recovered my seat (and reshaped the pillion for my wife) and it made a huge difference. Now it's very comfortable and looks better than the original seat. Hope this helps:)

Was it inexpensive? Did you tell him it was off and old beat up honda instead of a BMW? --Jerry
