OK...I was cleaning the bugs off the front of the bike and took my dish brush and without thinking used it to take the bugs off my Cal-Sci windscreen. After drying the bike...yep...you guessed it...the Cal-Sci has scratches all over it. UGH!!

I am leaving for Colorado and really don't want to ride with this scratched windscreen and don't really want to put my spare on either.

Only suggestions of how to get the scratches out?

TIA!

They can be polished out using one of the more abrasive tooth pastes with a cloth by hand.
I have also used a polishing wheel similar to the ones use on a stationary grinder in my drill with the rubbing compound. Always with very light pressure, excessive heat generated from hard pressure can cause the plastic to bubble inside. Plan on several hours.

I used this method to repair a 1982 Yamaha Seca windshield in 2018. I could not find a replacement. and it has a couple of bubbled areas.
