My bike started smelling like it is burning oil. I have kept up with all my maintenance items, so I'm not sure what's going on. Mainly smells under hard acceleration, but no smoke coming out of my exhaust. Bike has 60k miles on the odometer.

If you can't see blue smoke from the exhaust muffler, do you think the valve cover is leaking on the exhaust pipe? Maybe it is a small drip that is burning before it hits the garage floor.

Luckily, no blue smoke, or any smoke at all. I did read that k-motors were notorious for oil collecting in parts of the engine, where it would cause a burnt smell... Mainly happens to immediate shutoff and putting the side kickstand down, instead of center stand. Going to try to keep the bike leveled for 30 seconds, after shut off, before leaning it on the side kickstand. We'll see if that helps any.
