Hey xlr8r - just wondering how the KS has been travelling since the removal of the steering damper and if you have found any limits of the front end since removing the damper and running the bike for a good while.

Cheers

I can't answer for xlr8r, but I have over 6 k miles on mine without damper all on back roads and lots of one wheel riding over rises and bumpy as hell and no problems what so ever. Original M1 tires and present Pilot powers. I won't put it back unless they make me do it for track days. As I have said before, the front end geometry is way too conservative to be a problem. My .02

I agree.

Nothing to worry about removing the damper.

If you have any problems with a front end weave or wobble, the damper is most likely the cause.
