Got a new ehaust system for my k12r, great look and tone, but sounds even better if i run it with the baffle out, got told when it was dyno'd that the bike runs lean with the baffle out, just wonderin if by runing this way could it damage the engine in any way.
Any help with this would be great.

cheers

I was told this from the firm who fit the can and dyno'd it, but wondered myself if the ecu would sort this out, thanks for the reply though, could this apply to any aftermarket exhaust that has a removable baffle.
better off runing with it in then.

Make sure to disconnect the battery for at least 30 minutes so that the ecu will re-set. It will then relearn and set the mixture up so that it doesn't run to lean.
