Is it the same procedure whereby you disco the battery, reconnect, turn key to on, open throttle 3 times, turn key off? ...or is TPS something different?

This is listed in the owners manual under disconnecting the battery, i think

That is the process I used to reset my GT. Left the battery disconnected for about 45 minutes.

Disconnecting the battery for 20 to 30 minutes will reset the learned information in the ECU and return it to its default state.

Tuning the throttle open / closed with the ignition on sets the limits of the Throttle Position Sensor.

Two dfferent procedures, but usually done together.
