My 1990 K100Rs has been fitted with new tyres - all the manufacturers recommend a 160/60 rear and a similar low profile front. They are substantially smaller than the OE tyres - almost an inch at the rear. The straight line stability is superb, but cornering is hard work, especially on smaller roads.
OE spec tyres are available but all the manufactures recommend the same 160/60 tyre. RAM suspension fitted front and rear..now thinking I need a longer back shock to restore the ride height and sharpen the steering...currently I have a choice of comfortable but running wide, or sharp but hard on the spine....
Can anyone help with advice...and yes, the tyre pressures are correct..36/42 PSI
