Although in a former life I was an EMT and firefighter this is by no means a professional recommendation. Just what I carry.

1) Assortment of band-aids and butterfly bandages
2) several 4x4 pads
3) Bee sting antiseptic
4) Super glue
5) Motrin and Aspirin
6) Ace bandage
7) EMT Shears
8) Good tweezers (medical not beauty)
9) Forceps
10) #12 Blade Scalpel
12) Baking soda (only in case of really profuse bleeding)
13) Hemorrhoid cream or lanacane (good for road rash pain)

All this fits in a small zippered bag not much bigger than a shave kit.

Thanks for the help. I will use this as a base for my bag.

I went a took a look and noticed that I for got a few things.

- Triple antibiotic ointment
- Alcohol prep pads
- "Wound cleansing pads" (an iodine laced wet pad to clean out a cut)
- Generic maxi-pad (awesome for putting over a big cut and the adhesive strip makes it easy to fix in place).

Who needs those? Every truck stop girl I have ever met has been extra clean - they told me so.
