It appears this cable is NOT AVAILABLE from BMW for the HP instrument cluster kit I ordered and for which all other parts have come in.

Even Max BMW returned my credit charge for the order I placed.

Anybody got one laying around?

Yes I've bookmarked that great write up how to do the installation.

I was on the BMW MOTORAD UK site yesterday and while it implies "international shipping" the only option in the Country drop-down is United Kingdom. I just went back and sent them an email to ask if they have stock and if so, can they ship to USA.

I only did it because the price of the instrument cluster came WAY down -- from $4000 to $1500 (plus a few hundred $ worth of hardware like this wiring harness).

But I've always HATED the stock instruments for a bunch of reasons. Why the hell can't Motorrad just always do what the car guys have always done: black face, white numbers, orange illumination? I've never been in a BMW car that wasn't that way and I'm guessing it's because back in the mid-20th they did ergonomic studies, decided it was decisively superior, and so FOR SAFETY'S SAKE made it a mandatory design standard.
