Two months ago I purchased a '07 K1200S and it had several small problems, but with help from this Forum I have "most" figured out and have finally got the bike registered and on the road. I still have the Yellow warning and the LAMPR! lights on (see pic) even though ALL the lights work perfectly?!?!
I've just bought a '07 K1200S, and it too has several problems, the main ones being a split in the radiator header tank in the side of the thermostat housing (which I'm going to attempt to repair with plastic welding, or replace it, if that doesn't fix it) and a small miss in the engine (I'm replacing the plugs first, then go from there, if that doesn't fix it).
I was wondering is there anywhere I can download a FREE workshop manual for both the models?
Cheers.
Beno

You can't get a free copy of the workshop manual as such. It was only available on CD. You might be able to get a second-hand CD, or someone in OZ to burn you a copy of theirs (not that I'm recommending that (cough, cough)). Too bad you didn't ask last week as my brother just went back to Melbourne yesterday.
Similarly, it would be possible, depending on your IT knowledge, to "mount" a drive to mimic the CD, with an iso of the cd.

If you're familiar with mounting ISO's give me a shout on a DM

And on your Lampr! message, if you are certain that all lamps are working, including side/parking lights, then have you replaced or installed any LED lights? These can have low resistance which triggers the bike into thinking that a light has blown

Try changing to a new bulb in the brake light.
When you have plastic off (watch where short and long screws go), you can check which cylinder is missing by starting the bike up and quickly checking which header pipe is cooler than the others. Infrared temp reader good to have. Good possibility it is a coil. They can get battered by not using the proper tool to pull them.
YouTube is helpful sometimes. And plenty of info on this forum via the advanced search function found by opening the "more" upper right in title menu bar.
and use proper motorcycle coolant to refill, Pentofrost NF is a good one.

The LED vendors lie. Most will not work with the bmw computer failed lamp detection without an adjoining resistor. If you spend some time searching LED lamps on the forum you may find ones that work.

Isn't there an option in either GS911 or Motoscan to change the sensitivity on the CANBus to accommodate LED lights with their lower current draw to prevent LAMPF/LAMPR errors?

Not sure if this will apply to your particular bike or whether it would work but I'm sure I've seen the option somewhere.
