I rode my bike home without any problems or strange noises. I was changing the oil because I was planning a long trip the next day. I found this on the drain plug. Any ideas?

That's the answer. I drove it for 500km without it. There doesn't seem to be any other damage, but I have to remove the oil pan to get the rest of the parts out.
